Ingeteam completed the commissioning of the equipment supplied for the innovative passenger ship Viking Polaris. Our supply consisted of: two 5,500 kW INGEDRIVE hybrid converters used to control the permanent magnet motors for the main propulsions and three 1,500 kW INGEDRIVE converters together with Indar 1,500 kW and 1,200 rpm induction motors to control the tunnel thrusters.
